I appreciate this movie, despite the cliched romantic comedy plot. Everything else about it, the characters, the animation, and especially the music are pretty good. I would even say this might make for a good stage musical if it was put into the right hands.
Rio is a good movie. I enjoyed the story, but my wife had a few problems with the movie. The writers and producers really should have talked to some parrot lovers before shooting the movie.
