Grangemouth (Scots: Grangemooth; Scottish Gaelic: Inbhir Ghrainnse, pronounced [ˈiɲɪɾʲ ˈɣɾaiɲʃə]) is a town in the Falkirk council area in the central belt of Scotland.
Grangemouth is a town situated on the Firth of Forth about 4 miles east of Falkirk. Originally known as Sealock, the settlement was established in the late 18th century and thrived as the link between the eastern end of the Forth & Clyde Canal and the River Forth.
