I've never lived in Armley, but the few experiences I had there didn't leave a good impression. It's not somewhere I'd chose to live if I had other options nearby. Burley, however, is more expensive than Armley, so if there isn't a lot of choice, there are definitely worse places to end up.

I personally would not choose to live in Armley proper, but the winker green mills flats basically function as a gated community within armley. The people are nice, the flats are decently priced for the quality - I pay 750 for a large 2 bed flat with 2 bathrooms (one being an ensuite)
