The quality of life in Halifax is really great. There are so many things to do and the city has a really great community feel to it. I never felt unsafe walking around at night and I always felt like I had something to do on the weekends. The only downside is that the winters can be pretty tough, but that’s just something you have to deal with when you live in Canada.
