Nov 21, 2020 · We’ll wait longingly for the return of the Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge’s petit version of the salad that was PERFECT for nibbling and people-watching around the Studios! We then hit our main course, the Wagyu Burger for $24. This was really, really delicious. We absolutely loved the pastrami paired with the sunny side egg and gruyere cheese.
In case you are unfamiliar with this lounge, it is just an outdoor fenced off patio in front of the Hollywood Brown Derby restaurant at Hollywood Studios… While I’ve dined at the restaurant a few times in recent years, I’ve never been to this outdoor lounge which opened in Fall 2013. The Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge features a full-service bar and a selection of appetizers inside Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World Resort.
Although we had dined at the connected Brown Derby Lounge many times, this was our first time experiencing the full restaurant. Everything was fantastic! The biggest surprise of the meal was the Root Beer-Brined Pork. Such incredible flavor and the pork was cooked perfectly. The Cobb Salad is always a winner and the Spoon Bread is heavenly.
