Anisul Hoque was born in Nilphamary district of Rangpur Division of then East Pakistan (Now Bangladesh) in 1965. His father is late Mofazzal Haque and mother is Mst. Anwara Begum. He was a student of Rangpur PTI primary school. He passed SSC exam from Rangpur Zilla School in 1981 securing 3rd place in combined merit list in whole country.
