Vulnerable Sector Check forms are available online or in the lobby of Peel Regional Police Brampton and Mississauga locations. Applicants who share the date of birth and gender of a sex offender who has received a record suspension will be required to submit fingerprints.

You can request a record check from Peel Regional Police if you reside in Mississauga or Brampton. You can request three levels of records check: Criminal Record Check, Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check or a Vulnerable Sector Check.
Peel Regional Police has a Vulnerable Persons Registry (VPR) that helps police and the community locate missing people. The VPR allows the parents and/or caregivers of a vulnerable person to provide vital information to be used by emergency services during a crisis.
Apply online at https://rec-check.peelpolice.ca. Make sure you fill out the VULNERABLE SECTOR check. When asked about the notification preference of results, choose Embossed Hard Copy and NOT the digital copy.
Brampton and Mississauga residents can now obtain a Criminal Record Check, Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check or Vulnerable Sector Check for employment or volunteer purposes without having to attend a police station in person.
