Starring Thomas Jane and Laurence Fishburne, the small-scale, violent drama pits the two in a gripping and neatly assembled war of wills. "Standoff" unfolds in a lonely farmhouse where a little girl has taken refuge after witnessing a murder.

Hier und da ist -Standoff- brutal und gnadenlos. Dann wieder verlieren sich Killer und Beschützer in Dialogen, bei denen man nie weiß, ob sie aus Lügen oder Wahrheiten bestehen.
