Central’s Mission. We, at Central Union High School, strongly support the premise that our students must each have the opportunity to be graduated from this institution with the knowledge and skills necessary to function in an increasingly complex world.
We currently serve 4100 high school students in 5 high schools and over 1500 adults in our Adult School. Our roots go back to the early days of the Imperial Valley with the first school being established in 1908, our District namesake, Central Union High School.

Central High School, also known as High School of Columbus and High School of Commerce, was a four-year secondary school (grades 9–12) located in Franklinton, Columbus, Ohio. It was a part of Columbus City Schools (at the time Columbus Public Schools).
