    Dec 13, 2010 · If you think about it, a simple exhaust brake that just replaces the exhaust elbow on the turbo is $1500, you know a real Jake brake is going to be at least $4000... probably more being that you have to design and make a new head to do the job, plus the fitment issues they have to work with, not to mention wiring and programming.

    Jan 15, 2013 · I think the Pacbrake engine brake for the 6.7 ISB's uses an all new upper and lower valve cover assembly that mounts the solenoids and appears to use the VGT turbo as part of the control and actuation of the engine brake. This 12V brake is clearly not doing that.

It has a timed pump actuating 6 individual hydraulic cylinders mounted in a billet valve cover!
