Jun 12, 2017 · Very versatile and can do many things. My main complaint is that the screens go wiggy but can be replaced with a part order from Tascam. So check the screen!!! A company named "2Seemy" make a Graphics card so you can display your screen on an external monitor.

Sep 30, 2023 · I had some more questions about the tascam dm-4800, we are thinking of getting 2 of them and linking them together, and based on your experience with a single desk, how do you think it will work with 2? will the outboard meters show the same thing, or will they show what each desk is attempting to display?
It is a digital 64-channel console with 48 channels with full process equalizer, compressor, gate etc ... Works by layer 24 and has 12 auxiliary buses. You can work up to the 96-bit 24 khz. The type of synchronization can be MTC or LTC.
Nov 11, 2007 · The pre's don't suck, they are just neutral. The conversion is easily on par with RME gear, so not bad but not pristine. Hang some outboard gear off it and the quality is more than reasonable. Numerous commercial releases have been produced on these consoles so they can't be bad.
Feb 9, 2017 · Occasionally they may appear on ebay, however. You may also just need to check the connections and reseat them. Or there may be a problem that requires a replacement of a component. Check the DM-4800 service manual: - p. 15 for the diagnostic test u can run to get more info about the DDMP fault.
