HL is a long established company which has grown over many years to now be a FTSE 100 company. There's no comparison to the cowboy outfits. I tend to use Hargreaves Lansdowne to look after my money.

Oct 12, 2018 · I have a couple of clients who have disposed of shares outside of ISAs with firms like Hargreaves Lansdown as part of an investment portfolio. The client has provided the the usual investment reports which nicely cover dividend income and interest etc on the consolidated tax certificate but I cannot see any detail for the disposal of shares.
Feb 24, 2022 · 24 February 2022 at 10:37PM. Any accountant will do it. You can do it yourself with a spreadsheet, but you will need to present the calculation nicely in a PDF file for HMRC. They have an Easy access account with Allica paying 4.4% currently, so for 5 minutes faffing online, our joint EA account paying less than 2% is now in there paying 4.4%, you can put from £1 - £250k in there, usual fscs protection applies. There are EA, limited access and fixed rates available.
Oct 15, 2020 · So I've had a 'traditional' pension with Standard Life for 20 years that I felt I was paying too much for so I moved to Hargreaves Lansdown but happy to admit I haven't got a clue what I'm doing : ( If I look at their manage funds they're even more expensive than my old pension so I'm wondering whether PensionBee is worth trying?

I'm calling tomorrow to confirm the process before starting the ball. I expected my current provider to block it, but they have already confirmed it's possible, as long as money is from previous years subs.
Jul 28, 2021 · I have a number of stocks in a Fund & Share account with Hargreaves Lansdown. They currently are unable to perform a transfer of the stocks in to an ISA using the normal bed and ISA process, and instead are advising I sell the stock and buy it back.
Nov 15, 2019 · Purchase of block of fees High Cash Budget. Hi, I have several clients with Hargreaves Lansdown Investments. Whilst they provide a Consolidated Tax Certificate for income tax the reports only refer to using contract notes for any capital gains/losses. Are any other options avaiable for Capital Gains/Losses.
