We had a mutual friend in John Barrymore Jr. and his then pregnant girlfriend Jade, mother of Drew. I attended several parties on their property and one particularly memorable event in Joshua Tree.

Jul 2, 2024 · People see Towne’s name on Chinatown and assume the writing credit is clean. Far from it. Towne had this grand story of the movie being about how the old Los Angeles was being destroyed by the new. He wrote that story to some extent but his friend Edward Taylor wrote at least half of the screenplay — certainly more than Towne did.
Jul 30, 2021 · The thing about films from 60-90 years ago is that the men frequently had unbelievable VPL because, I guess, they tended to wear boxer shorts under loose-fitting, soft fabric pants. So anyone who has any discernible VPL was showing it off. Didn’t need to be a period piece like Gunfight above; it was just the style.

Feb 11, 2024 · Massacre at Central High had quite a few actors who were prolific in the 70s and 80s (Andrew Stevens, Derrel Maury, Robert Carradine, Kimberly Beck), but in smaller roles in the film there was Lani O’Grady (Eight is Enough) and Steve Bond (General Hospital).
