Jan 12, 2023 · on 12-01-2023 15:33. Hi @regentroad5. When you decide to renegotiate/cancel the best method and time to contact them is to call 150 from a Virgin landline or mobile, or 0345 454 1111, but best to call at 8am when lines first open to avoid call queues.

I managed to find this number for myself (I had tried 150 from my Virgin phone) but had to sit through so many options - choose this, pick that - and then finally get through to be told the current wait time was 110 minutes was enough to almost consign the phone to the front garden via the window.

This is what I tried to enter. IP address 192.168.0.296. Subnet prefix length 255.255.255.0. Gateway 192.168.0.1.
traceroute/mtr to the IPs of ns2.google.com ( 216.239.34.10 ) and ns4 ( 216.239.38.10 ) shows it intermittently failing in manc-core-2b-ae93-650.network.virginmedia.net. It's working fine from my none virgin-media connections. Down-detector is showing a big spike in Google problems centred around Manchester and London, so not just me; not sure ...
Mar 11, 2024 · Contacted Virgin total waste of time. On call for an hour to a non UK call centre. I’m out of contract pay £95.55 and have £20 discount until November. Any new deal advised to me more expensive. So false advertising regarding exclusive deal. Think I may move provider or scale back to broadband only even reducing from 500mb to 125 or 250.
Jun 30, 2024 · The latter provided a link to book an engineer, they seemed genuine and I clicked on link to try and book engineer but didn't, however, have seen reports of a few virgin media scam emails and am really worried. It was from this email address healthcheck@account.virginmedia.co.uk. Is this a genuine email account?
