Shih-Ching Tsou (Chinese: 鄒時擎) is a Taiwan-born film producer, director, and actress. She co-directed the film Take Out (2004) with Sean Baker. She also produced Baker's other films Starlet (2012), Tangerine (2015), The Florida Project (2017) and Red Rocket (2021).

Shih-Ching Tsou was born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan. She came to New York for her Master’s degree in Media Studies at The New School. It was at The New School where she met Sean Baker. Together they co-created the feature film Take Out, which premiered at the Slamdance film festival, and won the Regal Cinemas Dreammaker Award.

Feb 10, 2015 · I was included in a circle of introductions on Main Street when I barely noticed Shih-Ching Tsou, confidently hovering on the outskirts. It wasn’t that she was disinterested in meeting those around her, it’s just that she seemed more comfortable quietly taking in the surroundings.
