Martinus Wouter "Martin" Koolhoven (born 25 April 1969) is a Dutch film director and screenwriter. Internationally he is most known for Schnitzel Paradise (2005), Winter in Wartime (2008) and Brimstone (2016), which was his first film in English.
Martin Koolhoven is a filmmaker from the Netherlands who has made several successful and award-winning movies, such as Winter in Wartime, Brimstone and The Cave. He is also known for his TV shows, such as Koolhoven Presenteert and De Kijk van Koolhoven, and his relationship with writer Tallulah Schwab.
