Avi Arad (/ ˈ ɑː v i ˈ ɑː r ɑː d /; Hebrew: אבי ארד; born 1948) is an Israeli-American film producer who became the CEO of the company Toy Biz in the 1990s and soon afterward became the chief creative officer of Marvel Entertainment, and the chairman, CEO, and founder of Marvel Studios.

Arad has launched the live-action "Spider-Man" films, followed by other Marvel IP such as "Iron Man", "Venom", and many others.
The film will be produced by Nintendo and Arad Productions Inc., and directed by Wes Ball. The film will be co-financed by Nintendo and Sony Pictures Entertainment Inc., with more than 50% financed by Nintendo.
