Herbert Eugene Harris II (April 14, 1926 – December 24, 2014) was a Democratic member of the United States House of Representatives from Virginia. He served three consecutive terms from 1975 to 1981.
Herbert Benjamin Harris (April 24, 1913 – January 18, 1991) is a former Major League Baseball pitcher. Born in Chicago, Illinois, he attended college at Northwestern University. He played four games in his MLB career, in 1936 with the Philadelphia Phillies posting a career 10.29 ERA.

Harris has played with Marcus Roberts, and during his time with the Wynton Marsalis Septet he toured a good part of the world.
