Nancy Grant is a French-Québécois Canadian film producer. She was born in the small village of Petit-Matane, on the Gaspé Peninsula in the north of Quebec, Canada. [1] She is best known for producing multiple projects with several Quebec filmmakers including Maxime Giroux, Xavier Dolan, Denis Côté, and Anne Émond.
Dr. Nancy Grant was first elected to Rothesay Council in 2012 and served her first term on Council as Deputy Mayor. During that time, she chaired the Personnel and Procedural Bylaw Review Committees, as well as the Special Committee on Rail Safety.
Rothesay Mayor Nancy Grant will be formally recognized today, along with her fellow Members of the Order of New Brunswick, in the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, in the presence of Her Excellency, the Right Honourable Julie Payette, Governor General of Canada.
