Glenn Allen Anzalone (born June 23, 1955), better known by his stage name Glenn Danzig, is an American singer, songwriter, musician, and record producer. He is the founder of the rock bands Misfits, Samhain, and Danzig.
Danzig is an American heavy metal band led by former Samhain and Misfits singer Glenn Danzig. Formed in 1987 in Lodi, New Jersey, the group early on became a unique voice in the rock scene, playing a bluesy, doom-laden metal with Glenn Danzig crooning in the style of Roy Orbison and Elvis Presley.
Aug 30, 2018 · Formed in the wake of the Misfits' messy demise, Glenn Danzig's gothic/pagan-influenced outfit Samhain established a devoted cult following of their own with their first three records — 1984's Initium, 1985's Unholy Passion EP and 1986's Samhain III: November-Coming-Fire, all of which had been released on Danzig's independent Plan 9 label.
