Jamal Joseph (formerly Eddie Joseph; 1953) is an American writer, director, producer, poet, activist, and educator. Joseph was a member of the Black Panther Party and the Black Liberation Army . He was prosecuted as one of the Panther 21 . [1]
He is now a full professor at Columbia University's Graduate Film Program and the co founder and Executive Artistic Director of the acclaimed youth performance company Impact Repertory Theater. His films have been featured on FOX, A &E, Starz and the Urbanworld Film Festival.
