The Roxie Theater, also known as the Roxie Cinema or just The Roxie, is a historic movie theater, founded in 1912, at 3117 16th Street in the Mission District of San Francisco. It is a non-profit community arthouse cinema.
He established the theatrical distribution entity, Roxie Releasing, the profits of which he plowed into the construction of a second screen for the cinema (The Little Roxie) that opened in 2003. In 2005, The Roxie was integrated onto the campus of New College of California.

The Holts, committed to saving the cinematic treasure, reopened the theater after signing a lease through their corporation, Roxie Theater. The Roxie will be run by proven gung-ho veterans: Bill Banning as Artistic Director, Rick Norris as head of Roxie Releasing, and Rachel Hart as Operations Manager.
