Edmund Lincoln Anderson (September 18, 1905 – February 28, 1977) was an American actor and comedian. To a generation of early radio and television comedy he was known as " Rochester ". Anderson entered show business as a teenager on the vaudeville circuit.
Eddie 'Rochester' Anderson was an actor and singer who played Jack Benny's valet on radio and TV. He also appeared in films such as Gone with the Wind, You Can't Take It with You and It's a Mad Mad Mad World.
