Norman Krasna (November 7, 1909 – November 1, 1984) was an American screenwriter, playwright, producer, and film director. He is best known for penning screwball comedies which centered on a case of mistaken identity. Krasna also directed three films during a forty-year career in Hollywood.
Krasna focuses on some particularly grisly images, including those of medical experiments. He also repeats some stories that we now know were untrue, such as lampshades being made with human skin. Krasna's narration of the film makes several specific mentions of atrocities committed against Jews—an unusual move for the time.
