The European School, Brussels I (ESB1) is a European School located in Uccle, Brussels, Belgium (Uccle site), and Forest, Brussels, Belgium (Berkendael site). Originally the second of the European Schools to be founded, the European School, Brussels I, is today one of four in Brussels, and thirteen such schools across the European Union (EU).
Spread over two sites, Uccle and Berkendael, the European School Brussels 1 welcomes more than 4,000 pupils of 60 different nationalities and more than 500 members of staff from various EU member countries and beyond.
