The Manchukuo Imperial Army ( Chinese: 滿洲國軍; pinyin: Mǎnzhōuguó jūn) was the ground force of the military of the Manchukuo, a puppet state established by Imperial Japan in Manchuria, a region of northeastern China.
Surrendered units of the Chinese Northeastern Army formed the original core of Manchukuo's military. Augmented by the recruitment of local police, militia, and bandit forces, it reached a strength 140,000 in April 1932 but was soon downsized as the Japanese stabilized control over Manchuria.
