Charles Brady and his mother, Mary, are Sleepwalkers — nomadic, shapeshifting energy vampires who feed off the lifeforce of virgin women. Though they normally maintain human form, they can transform (partially or fully) into human-sized bipedal werecats (presumably, their natural form) at will.
