Aug 1, 2011 · Sing Sing Nights isn't one of Keeler's crazier works - in fact it's relatively normal as to plot. The story's major claim to fame is one of the earliest uses of a lie detector as plot device. This is overall a pretty competent film considering the time, source, studio and subject.

Synopsis. A respected war correspondent is found murdered, with three bullets--from three different guns--in him. Three different men are arrested, convicted and sentenced to death for the murder, but only one can be the actual killer. A criminologist sets out to find who is really guilty.
