Robin Hood: Men in Tights is a 1993 adventure comedy film and a parody of the Robin Hood story. The film was produced and directed by Mel Brooks, co-written by Brooks, Evan Chandler, and J. David Shapiro based on a story by Chandler and Shapiro, and stars Cary Elwes, Richard Lewis, and Dave Chappelle in his film debut.
Robin Hood: Men in Tights. Cary Elwes stars as Robin Hood, the dashing defender of the down-trodden, who along with his merry men and Maid Marion, resides in Sherwood Forest. There they have become together to fight against the seriously neurotic Prince John, the not quite-evil Sheriff of Rottingham, and the mad scorceress Latrine.

Last year she decided a comedy number was needed. She rounded up a whole bunch of dance Dad’s and we did the “Men in Tights” number. Some of the Dad’s weren’t just Dance Dads, they were actual (ballroom) Dancing Dads. They took the lead and us civilians just followed along. Brought the house down.
