The Mortician is a solitary, isolated man who discovers a young boy hiding in the mortuary. We learn via flashback throughout the movie that the Mortician, as a child, loved & was loved by his mother, with whom he lived alone.
A mortician's (Method Man) life is suddenly changed when a dead woman's body comes into his morgue, jolting old memories from his past. As days go by, he starts seeing a young boy hiding around the vicinity of his morgue.
The Mortician (Method Man) is a lonely man with a scarred past, the kind of guy who keeps his mind occupied by throwing everything he is into his work. That all changes one night on the way home...
