Richard "Kid" Strange (born January 1951) is an English writer, actor, musician, and curator, who was the founder and front man of mid-1970s protopunk art rock band Doctors of Madness.
He founded the hugely influential mixed-media Cabaret Futura in 1980, and has subsequently worked as a musician, writer and actor. His numerous movie appearances include Batman by Tim Burton, Mona Lisa by Neil Jordan, and Gangs of New York by Martin Scorsese.
