ABOUT IAIN HORNAL. Iain is best known as a touring member of 10cc and Jeff Lynne’s ELO, but he is also an artist in his own right. 2017 saw the release of his album The Game Begins With The Lights Out which included guest appearances from Graham Gouldman, Kevin Godley, Sophie Elis-Bextor, Matt Berry and members of The Feeling.
The Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) are an English rock band from Birmingham. Formed in 1971, [1] the group's original lineup included songwriters/multi-instrumentalists Jeff Lynne and Roy Wood and drummer Bev Bevan. [2] . Currently Jeff Lynne is the only official member of the band.
In late 2017 the 10cc concert line-up changed with Iain Hornal taking Wilson's place permanently as vocalist, after filling in regularly since 2013. And Paul Canning subbed for Hornal briefly during 2018, then once again in November of 2023. In 2020-2021 guitarist Nick Kendall subbed for Rick Fenn.

Nov 27, 2018 · Iain’s next album Fly Away Home will be out on general release on 6 April 2021. It saw a limited early release to crowdfunders last year. As with his previous record, Iain has produced the album with Jeff Lynne’s ELO bandmate Jo Webb, who also appears on guitars and keyboards.
