  5. Sauerwein was rhythm guitarist for alternative rock band Toadies from early 1991 to summer 1992. She also played with her own bands In The Myst and Hairstick. Saurwein was born in Dallas on June 3, 1964 growing up in nearby Irving and attended the University of North Texas in Denton.
