Jackson-Reed High School (founded as Woodrow Wilson High School) is a public high school in Washington, D.C. It serves grades 9 through 12 as part of the District of Columbia Public Schools. The school sits in the Tenleytown neighborhood, at the intersection of Chesapeake Street and Nebraska Avenue NW.
Mar 21, 2022 · DC's largest high school changed its name from Woodrow Wilson to Jackson-Reed on March 15, 2022. The new name honors the school's first Black teacher and principal, and the change was part of a DC initiative to review public buildings' namesakes.
