Gustav I of Sweden had three wives: Catherine of Saxe-Lauenburg, Margaret Leijonhufvud, and Catherine Stenbock. He went on to have nine children. Three of his sons, Eric XIV, John III, and Charles IX, ruled Sweden at different points in time.
Catherine Stenbock (en suédois : Katarina Gustavsdotter (Stenbock)) née le 22 juillet 1535 à Torpa (Suède-Finlande) et décédée le 13 décembre 1621 au Château de Strömsholm (Suède-Finlande) fut la troisième et dernière épouse du roi Gustave I er Vasa.
