Earl Kenneth Fernandes (born September 21, 1972) is a Roman Catholic prelate who has served as bishop of the Diocese of Columbus in Ohio since 2022. Fernandes is the first Indian-American bishop in the United States and the first person of color to serve as the bishop of Columbus.
It is a suffragan diocese in the ecclesiastical province of the metropolitan Archdiocese of Cincinnati. The mother church of the Diocese of Columbus is St. Joseph Cathedral in Columbus. The diocese was erected on March 3, 1868, by Pope Pius IX. The current bishop of Columbus is Earl K. Fernandes .
