Community Living Ontario is a non-profit provincial association that has been advocating for people who have an intellectual disability and their families for 70+ years. We proudly work alongside 122 local agencies and advocate on behalf of more than 100,000 people across Ontario.

There are 75 Community Health Centres ( CHCs) in Ontario. Each centre is an incorporated, non-profit agency, governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. CHCs provide interprofessional primary care services with an emphasis on health promotion and disease prevention.
We support people of all ages, and our services are organized into three main streams: specialized services, community participation supports and respite, and supported living.

We aim to support people to live as independently as possible. Some people might need 24/7 support, whereas others may only need a few hours a day. Person-directed practices, which respect each person’s right to consider choices and to make life decisions, guide our supported living programs.
