Jeffery Dean Struecker (born March 7, 1969) is an American author, pastor, and former United States Army Ranger who was involved in the Battle of Mogadishu in 1993. [2] [3] [4] He also participated in the 1989 invasion of Panama ( Operation Just Cause ) [2] [3] and in Kuwait during Operation Desert Storm .
Biography. Dr. Struecker served as a chaplain in many Airborne and Ranger units before retiring from the US Army in 2011. He was inducted into the US Army Ranger Hall of Fame in 2017. He has been deployed to combat in Panama, Kuwait, Somalia, and many tours of duty in Afghanistan and Iraq.
