Sandringham House is a country house in the parish of Sandringham, Norfolk, England. It is one of the royal residences of Charles III, whose grandfather, George VI, and great-grandfather, George V, both died there. The house stands in a 20,000-acre (8,100 ha) estate in the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
With generations of history linked to the British Monarch since 1862, Sandringham Estate remains the private country retreat to Their Majesties The King Charles III and Queen Camilla. The House is perhaps the most famous stately home in Norfolk and is at the heart of the 8,000 hectare Sandringham Estate. 24 hectares of which make up the woodland and heath of the Sandringham Royal Park, open to the public every day of the year.
Sandringham House is open to visit until 11 October. The main eight ground floor rooms, regularly used by the Royal Family, are open to the public and the decor and contents remain very much as they were in Edwardian times.
