Penelope doesn’t love him and only agreed to marry him to save her father’s ailing company.
In 2019, Vanderham joined the main cast of the American action series Warrior as Penelope Blake. She played Atropos, a recurring character in the fifth season of DC's Legends of Tomorrow.

Supposedly she wasn't available, cause when the show got cancelled after season 2, the cast got released from their contracts and she had a new show that she was working on at the same time as Warrior. Hopefully, there is room in a potential season 4 to bring her back and resolve her storyline.
