Dec 19, 2016 · Showdown at Williams Creek (1991) Tom Burlinson is John “Kootenai” Brown, a British soldier who heads to North America with a friend named Arthur Vowell. He’s convinced they’ll find adventure and fortune in the gold fields and return to Europe as gentlemen.
Brown's trial would probably have resulted in a guilty verdict, however a former acquaintance and mining partner, Arthur Vowell (John Pyper-Ferguson), turns up as a character witness for Brown with incriminating evidence against McTooth for a shooting death years earlier.
