UWC-USA (legally named the Armand Hammer United World College of the American West) is a United World College school in San Miguel County, New Mexico, United States. It was founded in 1982 by businessman Armand Hammer.

While most of our alumni go on to highly competitive schools and colleges around the world, they also consistently use their academic learning in the service of the UWC mission: solving intractable problems, building bridges between people, and strengthening communities.
The building sat vacant until Armand Hammer acquired in 1981 for the United World College. Lacking resources, the United World College left the building in an increasing state of disrepair until it could raise funds for a comprehensive restoration in 1999–2002.
