Robert Barton Rogers OAM (3 December 1926 – 29 May 2024) was an Australian disc jockey and radio broadcaster. He was noted for introducing Top 40 radio programming to Australia in 1958, on 2UE. Before his retirement in October 2020, Rogers presented the six-hour Saturday evening Reminiscing program on Sydney radio station 2CH.

May 30, 2024 · I want to start with a happy memory, literally, of sharing a workplace with legendary radio announcer Bob Rogers, who died on May 29 at age 97. Bob was seven decades into his radio career by the time we met, and on-air at classic hits station 2CH.
Jan 14, 2017 · Bob Rogers began radio as a panel operator on 3XY Melbourne in 1942. His first DJ show was in Hobart a few years later. He then went to Brisbane and made a hit of Slim Dusty’s ‘Pub With No Beer’. He presented Australia’s first Top 40 show on Sydney’s 2UE from 1958 to 1962 and was Australia’s top radio DJ for the next 8 years.
