A widower Steve (Sam Jones) and his girlfriend Harry (Catherine Bach) stop Nelson (Don Swayze) and his tow-truck drivers of the future who boost business with accidents and starts a war with them that leads to bloodshed and violence.
Review by Chuck Dowling ★★½. It’s the apocalypse, or is it? Tow truck drivers rule the world now, except everything else in the world is still totally fine. New driver Sam Jones pisses off current driver Don Swayze by merely existing, and a deadly rivalry is born.

"Driving Force" is a contrived action pic that fails to whip up the populist sentiment of '70s truck driving man features. Direct-to-video pic was shot in the Philippines by Aussie filmmakers, with several supporting players dubbed with an American accent.
