Friedrich Josias, Prince of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha (Friedrich Josias Carl Eduard Ernst Kyrill Harald; 29 November 1918 – 23 January 1998) was the head of the Ducal Family of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha and titular Duke of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha from 1954 until his death. He was a great-grandson of Queen Victoria .

Jul 16, 2018 · Prince Friedrich Josias of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, Head of the House at the time, willingly approved. The official state marriage ceremony took place on 18 June 1971 and the ecclesiastical wedding was on 31 July 1971.
Josias married Therese after their return to Coburg, on 24 December and recognized his son. Frederick was ennobled by the Austrian Emperor on 25 August 1808 and on 17 February 1853 the Duke Ernst II of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha created him Freiherr von Rohmann, named after the place of his birth.
