Jun 13, 2012 · Kemble, ON (GOLF ASSOCIATION OF ONTARIO) – Strong winds off Georgian Bay didn’t discourage Kitchener’s Ron Pearson from delivering a two-under par 70 Tuesday in the opening round of the Investors Group Ontario Men’s Mid-Amateur Championship hosted by Cobble Beach Golf Links near Owen Sound.
Dugas has been head pro at Magnetic Hill club in Moncton; assistant pro at Truro Golf Club, Country Meadows in Moncton, and Carmen Creek in Fredericton; and has been a teaching pro at Montague Links, Dartmouth, where, today, he is superintendent of operations.
Today was the final round for Kevin Duda and Alex Letros to determine the men's club champion for 2018. After 18 holes Kevin Duda's score was 77 and Alex Letros shot 76 to win by the narrowest of margins. Congratulations to Alex on his 2nd club championship at Whitevale, well done!
