Provinces of night – William Gay. I couldn't find any active William Gay threads on Reddit, so I'm posting this here seeing that some of you have read his books. I thought the book was a good read. I find both the writer and the writing very authentic, and even though the McCarthy influence is quite apparent, I'm not really bothered by it.
