Richard W. Reading (February 7, 1882 – December 9, 1952) was a Republican mayor of Detroit, Michigan from 1938 to 1940.
Richard Reid formed Argosy Partners Ltd. in 1995 to advise and invest in small and medium-sized Canadian businesses. Richard was introduced to the world of corporate finance when he got his first job working as a phone clerk on the floor of the Toronto Stock Exchange for Wood Gundy.
He was sentenced to four to five years in prison. Reading died on December 9, 1952 in Brighton, Michigan. Richard W. Reading was a Republican mayor of Detroit, Michigan from 1938 to 1940.
