This is the January 2021 edition of the They Shoot Pictures, Don't They? list of the 1,000 greatest films. 2024 (19th edition): TSPDT 1–1,000, 1,001–2,000, 21st Century. 2023 (18th edition): TSPDT 1–1,000, 1,001–2,000, 21st Century. 2022 (17th edition): TSPDT 1–1,000, 1,001–2,000, 21st Century.
Mar 3, 2022 · Martin Stranka won the title of Photographer of the Year 2021 for his series 'Boyhood,' which came with a $1,000 cash prize. Eight other category winners received a $500 cash prize. The winning entries were selected from a jury consisting of professional photographers, including Vadim Sherbakov.

In 2021, I photographed 171 soccer games. With my last game of the year shot on October 30th, 2021, this is an average of 1 game for every 1.77 days! In all, I shot over 320,000 photos and published over 21,000 photos this year. Here is a gallery of my 20 favorite shots of 2021 and some of my thoughts behind them.
