Jun 12, 2017 · the problem with the tascam are the drivers and also the lack of support. Yammi still has win10 and all the new OS X drivers, therefore unfortunately I have removed the tascam from the list. I'm looking for something fairly long term, also the tascam would eat up my entire desk pretty much.
Nov 30, 2023 · After discussing the situation with knowledgeable folks, this appears to be a known problem with different setups. Mine has been fairly stable for years, then it began to act this way. I have reinstalled the drivers for both the ieee1394 computer card and the DM with no success.

Tascam has a hell worse than navigating all the rest. The DDX on the other hand was really an example of functionality that the Tascam 4800 is inspired and is a real plus for them. The manual is enough to know that some digital and menu and submenus.
